I’ll start by saying Eddie is a gem. He’s professional, nerdy, prepared, sweet, and really funny. My husband and I felt relaxed with Eddie as we prepared for one of the biggest events of our lives.
When we met Eddie for the first time, he brought mini figures that he painted himself with a map to represent the altar where the wedding vows are exchanged and we did rehearsals with that instead of going to the location. It just made more sense honestly. We met with him twice and to refresh our memory he brought the same set again to go over with us a month out from the wedding.
Eddie has a portal that he links to his clients when they book with him and it’s nicely arranged, it has all the relevant questions laid out, and it’s very user friendly.
Closer to our wedding date we were asked to submit vows to Eddie. He did a clever take on the vows- he prints them off for you so you can keep them even after the ceremony. I was so nervous during the vows that I missed a bit of what my partner said but having them in print form and being able to take them home afterward was such a nice touch.
Eddie also took some pictures for us even though we had a photographer, and he also made a recording for us because my family lives very far away and couldn’t attend.
Eddie was really prepared, really chill, nerdy, and really on top of things. I’m so glad I booked with him and if I were to recommend a celebrant to any one of my friends I’d recommend Eddie hands down.
